A weekend of arts and crafts in Southborough

If it’s arts and crafts you like, you’ll be thrilled about the offerings in Southborough this weekend. On Sunday it’s a holiday art sale and open studio on Chestnut Hill Road. On Saturday, local artisans will gather at the Community House for Holiday Gifts on the Common.

Save the date for Santa Day, sponsors needed

Algonquin soccer teams win division titles, head to state semifinals tonight

I have to admit I haven’t been paying much attention to Algonquin sports this fall, but good thing Kim over at Northboro News has been. She points out that both the boys and girls soccer teams captured the Central Mass Division 1 title on Monday. Both had been ranked as underdogs.

Selectmen unanimously pick Jane Moran to be Southborough’s new police chief
