It was déjà vu for the Algonquin girls gymnastics team this weekend. For the second year in a row, they narrowly missed taking home the South Sectional Championship title. Like last year, they lost to first-place Barnstable by a mere point.
But on the positive side, for the second year in a row they’ve qualified for the state championship meet, which this year will take place on March 3 at the DCU Center in Worcester.
