Upcoming auditions for children’s production at Trottier

The Missoula Children’s Theatre Group will make a swing through Southborough next month. With the help of the Southborough Players, the world-renowned theater company will put on a performance of The Pied Piper, and they’re looking to cast local kids in the show.

Here’s how MCT describes their traveling program:

A little red truck pulls into your town with everything it takes to mount a full-scale musical production…except the cast. That’s where the children of your community come in.

On Monday, they’re cast as characters. By Saturday, they’ve gained character – the kind that really counts.

Auditions for The Pied Piper will be held on Monday, April 12 at Trottier. Rehearsals for the performance take place each day that week, leading up to two performances on Saturday, April 17.

Kids in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to audition. Auditions will be group auditions, so no advanced preparation is required.

For more details, see this letter from the Southborough Players.
