Trottier roof repairs complete

The Metrowest Daily News reported this week that repairs to the Trottier roof were made over February vacation, and things at the school are back to normal after heavy snow bent trusses in the school’s roof in February.

Superintendent Charles Gobron said Monday that the truss company, Aegis Systems, put together a repair plan, and the school completed it during February vacation.

Andre Martecchini, principal structural engineer with the Kleinfelder/S E A Consultants, wrote in a Feb. 25 affidavit that the repairs are sufficient.

The town’s insurance company will cover the cost of the repairs, with the school responsible only for its $1,000 deductible. You can read more in this article in the MWDN.
