I’ll be taking the day off from the blog today to enjoy some time with my family. I hope you’re doing the same. Before I sign off, here are some things to keep in mind for today.

  • The Library, Town House, and other town facilities are closed today. So are banks and the post office.
  • When the library opens up again tomorrow, be sure to stop by and see our town’s 1776 copy of the Declaration of Independence on display.
  • Looking for fireworks? There are plenty of options tonight, but all will require you to drive a bit. Here’s a complete list of firework displays in Massachusetts.
  • Southborough native Matt Samberg is racking up the wins on Jeopardy! Tune in to Channel 4 tonight at 7:30 pm to cheer him on again.
  • Need some Fourth of July spirit? Kids at last week’s Southborough Library parade had it in spades. Check out the photo gallery if you haven’t already.

Happy 4th!
