It’s too late notice to help most commuters this morning, but I just learned about an accident near downtown that is causing hassles this morning.
Residents in the area of Outlook Drive have posted about power down in their area. It appears that is the result of a nearby accident on East Main Street — and area that Southborough Police are alerting drivers to avoid until power lines are fixed.
The SPD posted to Facebook:
!Traffic Alert!
East Main Street at #14 through Overlook Drive has been shut down, due to a MV into a Utility Pole. No injuries have been reported at the scene. Multiple wires down with power lost to the area. National Grid is headed to the scene.
