Northborough-Southborough schools want your input on strategic vision

Last spring the Northborough-Southborough schools embarked on a project to develop a new strategic plan to guide the district over the next decade or so. Now they’re looking for your feedback as parents, taxpayers, and members of the community on what that vision should be.

The district has prepared a survey to help them evaluate current programs and practices, and they invite all community members to complete it, whether they have kids in the school district or not. Questions in the survey focus on six general areas: student outcomes, student welfare, school personnel, communication, community outreach, and school funding.

The survey is available online until September 28.

In addition to the survey, the school will host three focus group sessions starting with one next week at Trottier. Parents/guardians and community members are invited to attend. Here’s the schedule:

Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 7:00pm ~ Trottier Middle School Library
Wednesday, September 19, 2012 @ 7:00pm ~ Melican Middle School Library
Thursday, September 27, 2012 @ 7:00pm ~ Algonquin Regional High School Library
