Southborough police logs (1/1/13 – 1/7/13): iPhone stolen, woman locked inside ATM enclosure, public urination

Last Thursday, a resident reported his iPhone and some cash were stolen from his car while it was parked at a Cordaville Road business. On Friday, a woman called police saying the door to an ATM enclosure on Main Street was jammed and she was locked inside. Later that day, police responded to a report that kids were urinating on the side of Oak Hill Road.

  • 0113 hrs – ARRESTED: A Framingham man was arrested and charged with Marked Lanes violation and OUI Alcohol.
  • 0207 hrs – A resident of Howes Court, Southborough was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault & Battery and Malicious Destruction of Property.
  • 1437 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pleasant Street business.
  • 1525 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 1629 hrs – Officers assisted a Maple Street resident with a domestic issue.
  • 1732 hrs – An officer provided a bicyclist with a civilian transport, after the individual’s bicycle broke down.
  • 1749 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 2015 hrs – Officers assisted a Walnut Drive resident with a domestic issue.

  • 0134 hrs – Officers assisted a tractor trailer unit stuck on Washington Street.
  • 0745 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a School Street residence.
  • 1027 hrs – A medical was reported at a Wentworth Drive residence.
  • 1330 hrs – A walk-in medical was reported at the Fire Department.
  • 1334 hrs – Framingham Police requested mutual aid from Southborough Police for a motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road (at the town line). Officers responded to the area and assisted the FPD.
  • 1419 hrs – Officers responded to an Oak Hill Road residence for a report of a disturbance. After their investigation, two involved parties were advised that they would be charged with Assault & Battery.
  • 1816 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Southville Road business.
  • 1909 hrs – A medical was reported at a William Onthank Lane residence.
  • 2108 hrs – A motorist from Southbridge was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration and Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

  • 0456 hrs – A medical was reported at a Boston Road business.
  • 0840 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Joslin Lane residence.
  • 1002 hrs – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1020 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
  • 1046 hrs – A motorist reported that the traffic lights at Firmin Ave and Willow Street were not working properly.
  • 1348 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1607 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Marlboro Road.
  • 1624 hrs – A resident of Marlboro Road was taken into Protective Custody.
  • 1638 hrs – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1649 hrs – A Main Street resident reported that someone had stolen his iPhone and cash from his vehicle, while the vehicle was parked at a Cordaville Road business. The incident is under investigation.

Friday, January 4, 2013

  • 0214 hrs – Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a Turnpike Road business. The vehicle and the operator checked out ok.
  • 0912 hrs – Officers investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road by Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 0913 hrs – A Marlboro Road resident requested to speak to an officer regarding a domestic issue.
  • 1115 hrs – Officers responded to a Maplecrest residence for a report of a domestic disturbance. The responding officers reported that the altercation was only verbal, and no charges were filed from the incident.
  • 1329 hrs – Officers responded to Neary Elementary School to investigate 3 abandoned 911 calls from the school. Everything checked out ok at the school.
  • 1443 hrs – An officer responded to a Main Street business for a report of a female locked inside an ATM enclosure. The woman was able to free herself prior to the officer’s arrival. (The door was jammed, and she had been unable to leave the ATM area).
  • 1658 hrs – Officers assisted a Rock Point Road resident with a domestic issue.
  • 1714 hrs – A Boston Road resident reported finding footprints (in the snow) around his residence. He requested extra patrol checks of his property.
  • 1716 hrs – An officer investigated a parking complaint on East Main Street.
  • 1725 hrs – An officer responded with the Fire Department to a Southville Road business, to investigate a report of a natural gas odor. A small gas leak was found, and NStar was notified and responded to the scene.
  • 1759 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 2225 hrs – A Southborough Officer assisted a Mass State Trooper with a traffic stop in Southborough.
  • 2316 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a bonfire in the area of Valley Road and Boston Road. The fire was located and extinguished.
  • 2342 hrs – Officers responded to Oak Hill Road for a report of youths urinating near the roadway. The responding officers located a party nearby, and the adult residents were advised of the report.

  • 0307 hrs – A medical was reported at a Parkerville Road residence.
  • 0332 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Southville Road.
  • 0618 hrs – A medical was reported at a Wyndemere Drive residence.
  • 1114 hrs – An officer installed a child car seat for a resident at the station.
  • 1330 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
  • 1402 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Witherbee Lane residence.
  • 1738 hrs – A motorist from Worcester was issued a Criminal Application for Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License.
  • 2208 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 2244 hrs – An officer responded with the Fire Department to a Carriage Hill Circle residence, to investigate a report of a possible fire in the home.

  • 1200 hrs – A medical was reported at a Mitchell Street residence.
  • 1802 hrs – Officers assisted a Cordaville Road resident with a child custody exchange.
  • 1922 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Whistler Lane residence.
  • 2212 hrs – Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked in the parking lot of a Turnpike Road business. The vehicle and the operator checked out ok.

  • 0849 hrs – A medical was reported at a Blueberry Lane residence.
  • 1704 hrs – A Cherry Street resident was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
  • 1813 hrs – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1816 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a suspicious male in the parking lot of a Newton Street business. The male was later located by the Northborough Police Department, and NPD reported back that the male checked out ok.
  • 1847 hrs – An officer responded to the 911 field to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle that had been parked at the field for over an hour. The responding officer reported back that the vehicle was no longer there.
  • 2002 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a burglar alarm at a Boston Road business.
  • 2259 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a domestic disturbance at a Framingham Road residence. A male party was placed in protective custody at the scene.
  • 2338 hrs – An Autumn Hill Lane resident reported a suspicious vehicle had been parked in front of his home. The resident reported that the vehicle left the area when the resident shined a light on the vehicle. The resident was unable to give a description of the vehicle.
