For the past 28 years, the Southborough Gardeners have helped make the holiday season in Southborough more festive by hanging wreaths at town buildings and businesses. This year wreaths graced the doors and windows of places like the Town House, fire and police stations, Colonial Gardens, and most Main Street businesses.

The Algonquin basketball program will offer a skills camp at the high school over February vacation for boys and girls in grades 5 through 8. The camp will be run by varsity head coaches Brian Doherty and Ron Jones with help from the varsity boys and girls players.

MWDN: Superintendent recommends five new teachers at Algonquin

Superintendent Charles Gobron presented a preliminary budget for Algonquin at the Regional School Committee meeting last night. The $19.4M budget, which is $893K above the current year’s budget, includes a request for five new teachers and an additional assistant principal.
