Southborough police logs (1/18/13 – 1/21/13): Kallander Field vandalized

Friday, January 18, 2013

  • 0133 hrs – A medical was reported at the police station.
  • 0415 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 0630 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a “Hit and Run” accident on Oak Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1042 hrs – Officers investigated a report of vandalism to the field on Kallander Drive. The field was damaged after an unknown vehicle drove over and ripped up the grassy area.
  • 1115 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Valley Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1132 hrs – Officers served a Harassment Prevention Order to an Oak Hill Road resident.
  • 1632 hrs – A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1717 hrs – An officer assisted a Bridge Street resident with a domestic issue.
  • 1928 hrs – Officers responded to Turnpike Road for a report of an erratic operator. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officers arriving on scene.
  • 1929 hrs – Solicitors registered at the police department.
  • 2038 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked at the 911 Memorial Field. The responding officer reported back that the operator was waiting for a friend at the field.

Saturday, January 19, 2013

  • 0123 hrs – ARRESTED: A Northborough man was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor (OUI Alcohol). The man’s female passenger was placed into Protective Custody due to Alcohol Intoxication.
  • 0705 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Lover’s Lane residence.
  • 0833 hrs – Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator on Pine Hill Road. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.
  • 0859 hrs – A requested well-being check was conducted on a Boston Road resident.
  • 1235 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wyeth Circle residence.
  • 1247 hrs – Officers investigated a possible larceny from a Central Street business. The customer was contacted and the situation was resolved without charges filed.
  • 1509 hrs – A Cordaville Road resident reported a suspicious male had taken a picture of her license plate. An officer responded and took a report of the incident.
  • 1714 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1837 hrs – Officers assisted a Sears Road resident with a domestic issue.
  • 1846 hrs – A medical was reported at a Clemmons Street residence.
  • 2024 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
  • 2137 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from Fay School.

  • 0101 hrs – A resident of Ted Lane reported that they believed someone had just put something in their mailbox. An officer responded and checked the mailbox for the resident. Everything checked out ok.
  • 0434 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Kidder Lane residence.
  • 0808 hrs – A medical was reported at a William Onthank Lane residence.
  • 1045 hrs – A medical was reported at a 24 Newton Street business.
  • 1119 hrs – A medical was reported at a Pearl Street residence.
  • 1131 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
  • 1223 hrs – A medical was reported at a General Henry Knox Road residence.
  • 1234 hrs – A medical was reported at a Central Street residence.
  • 1354 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a Hit and Run accident on Oak Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

Monday, January 21, 2013

  • 0739 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Marlboro Road by Acre Bridge Road. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0816 hrs – Officers investigated a report of possible threats at a Turnpike Road residence. The responding officer reported back that everything checked out ok.
  • 0903 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at Middle Road residence.
  • 1010 hrs – A medical was reported at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1251 hrs – A motorist reported that the traffic lights at Turnpike Road and Central Street were not cycling. Mass Highway was notified.
  • 1251 hrs – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1406 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. There was a report of injuries at the scene of the accident.
  • 1638 hrs – A Southwood Drive resident reported that they were the victim of an Identity Theft. An officer responded and took a report of the incident.
  • 1816 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1850 hrs – The DPW was called out to treat the roadways.
  • 1859 hrs – A Blendon Woods resident was taken into Protective Custody after officers responded and investigated a report of a possible theft in the area of Blendon Woods.
  • 2012 hrs – A medical was reported at the police station.
  • 2058 hrs – Officers investigated a report of two males attempting to break into motor vehicles on Walnut Drive. A resident reportedly chased the two suspects from the area, prior to the responding officer’s arrival to the scene. State Police responded and checked the area with a K9 officer, but were unable to locate the two suspects. (more)
