Southborough police logs (4/26/13 – 5/1/13): Some kids trespassing, others fighting

Here are the latest logs from the Southborough Police Department.

April 26, 2013

  • 0457 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0839 hrs- A medical was reported at a Southville Road residence.
  • 1040 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
  • 1050 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Marlboro Road residence.
  • 1446 hrs- Officers were asked to respond to a residence on Turnpike Road in order to keep the peace, as a roommate moved out of the residence.
  • 1518 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wildwood Drive residence.
  • 1533 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
  • 2040 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wolfpen Lane residence.
  • 2215 hrs- Officers responded to another burglar alarm at the same Wolfpen Lane residence.

April 27, 2013

  • 0022 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Southville Road residence.
  • 0107 hrs- Officers gave a civilian transport to a resident of Southville Road.
  • 1106 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wolfpen Lane residence.
  • 1112 hrs- An officer on patrol found a motor vehicle with a smashed out rear window on Main Street. The owner was contacted and was aware of the damage.
  • 1141 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at Neary Elementary School.
  • 1257 hrs- Officers responded with the Fire Department to a Ward Road residence for a reported brush fire. The fire was located and extinguished by the FD.
  • 1330 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pleasant Street residence.
  • 1438 hrs- An officer on patrol of the Lynbrook Road area was flagged down by a resident, who reported that their neighbor’s front door was open and no one was home. The officer and a back-up officer checked the home, and everything checked out ok.
  • 1623 hrs- Officers responded to Turnpike Road for a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 2000 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Nipmuc Lane residence.
  • 2002 hrs- Officers responded to an accidental 911 call on Cross Street. Upon their arrival, they found that there was a domestic incident in progress. The domestic was verbal in nature, and one party agreed to leave the residence for the night.
  • 2216 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 2252 hrs- Officers responded to an Orchard Road residence for a report of a noise complaint. The responding officers reported back negative findings in the area.

Sunday, April 28, 2013

  • 1123 hrs- Officers responded to a Flagg Road residence for a neighbor dispute involving two dogs. The parties were advised of their options, and the Animal Control Officer was notified of the incident.
  • 1201 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Oregon Road residence.
  • 1215 hrs- ARRESTED: A Marlborough man was arrested and charged with violating an active Harassment Prevention Order.
  • 1359 hrs- An officer responded to Breakneck Hill Road for a report of an abandoned motorcycle in the roadway. The operator was located and checked out ok.
  • 1550 hrs- Officers responded to Parkerville Road for a report of an erratic motor vehicle. The vehicle was identified by the registration, and the incident is currently under investigation.
  • 1655 hrs- Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of kids hanging around an abandoned home. The kids had left the area, but were later identified by items that they had left behind. All were advised about trespassing, and were released to the custody of their parents.
  • 1815 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of a Turnpike Road business. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1827 hrs- An officer responded to a Lynbrook Road residence in order to assist a resident with a No Trespass Notice.
  • 1845 hrs- Officers responded to the Finn School fields for a report of a group of youths fighting. The group had dispersed prior to the officers arriving on scene, and the responding officer gathered information from those still present. The Juvenile officer was notified of the incident as well.
  • 2151 hrs- Officers assisted a Ted Lane resident with a possible Restraining Order violation.

Monday, April 29, 2013

  • 0129 hrs- Westborough Police requested mutual aid from Southborough Police for a fight at the Double Tree hotel. Reports came in of a man possibly waving a gun at others during the argument. Those present were checked, but no weapon was found.
  • 0644 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on River Street. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0650 hrs- Southborough Police requested mutual aid from Ashland Police to check an alarm at an Oregon Road residence.
  • 0716 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
  • 1438 hrs- Southborough police responded to Oak Hill Road (just past the Ashland town line) for a report of youths throwing objects over the Mass Pike overpass. The responding officers reported back that the juveniles had left the area prior to their arrival.
  • 1502 hrs- A Lynbrook Road resident was issued a Harassment Prevention Order.
  • 1620 hrs- An officer responded to Leonard Drive for a report of a male party in a red pick-up going door-to-door, looking for scrap metal to sell/buy. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.
  • 1713 hrs- Officers responded to Breakneck Hill Road for a report of a large truck blocking part of the roadway. The truck was located and asked to leave the area.
  • 2224 hrs- An officer responded to a barking dog complaint on Deerfoot Road.

  • 1048 hrs- An officer responded to a Southville Road residence for a vandalism report.
  • 1246 hrs- An officer responded to a Southville Road business to take a Larceny from a Motor Vehicle report.
  • 1451 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
  • 1646 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Boston Road resident.
  • 1710 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1724 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 1734 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1854 hrs- Officers assisted a Middle Road resident with a request for a Restraining Order.
  • 2308 hrs- Officers checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked at a Boston Road business. The vehicle checked out ok.
  • 2335 hrs- A Maple Street resident was served a Restraining Order.

Wednesday, May 1, 2013

  • 0155 hrs: ARRESTED: A Marlborough woman was arrested and charged with OUI Alcohol and Speeding.
  • 0349 hrs- An officer checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked at a Turnpike Road business. The vehicle and the operator checked out ok.
  • 0610 hrs- A resident came to the station to request information on a Restraining Order.
  • 0809 hrs- Officers checked the Cordaville Road area for a report of a two car, motor vehicle accident. No accident was found in the area.
  • 1007 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Carriage Hill Circle residence.
  • 1231 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Woodland Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1252 hrs- State Police advised that a dog was found wandering around the Mass Turnpike. The dog was being held at the MSP barracks.
  • 1434 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1540 hrs- Officers assisted another disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1545 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1709 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road residence.
  • 1802 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1944 hrs- A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
  • 2123 hrs- Officers checked the Turnpike Road area for a report of an erratic motor vehicle. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
