Southborough family to hold yard sale on Saturday to raise money for pediatric cancer research

For the third year in a row, the Bazikas family on Atwood Street will hold a yard sale to help raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. It’s an annual event in honor of 10-year-old Gabrielius Bazikas, himself a cancer survivor.

When Gabi was 3-1/2 years old, he was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). Now a healthy fourth-grader, Gabi, along with his family, will take part in the PMC Kids Ride in Westborough next month. Money raised at the yard sale on Saturday will be added to the family’s fundraising for the ride.

Saturday’s yard sale takes place at 22 Atwood Street from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. In addition to the normal yard sale fare, there will be coffee, homemade cookies, and lemonade.
