You can purchase a unique piece of art and support a great cause.  This Sunday, six paintings championing the Boston Strong message will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the One Fund Boston. The silent auction will take place at the 5-K run for Boston One Fund this Sunday, June 9, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Trottier Middle School.

The panels being auctioned were painted on May 19th at the Bigelow Arts Center. Four of these were painted by 11-15 year old artists who aimed to capture the spirit of the marathon. Panels range in size from 24″x36″ to 48″x36″.  To find out more about the art and auction, click here.

Lanting Huang-Truong of Bigelow Arts is organizing this event.  She credits help to Danforth Museum of Art and support from sponsors Southborough Recreation, Rogaris Law Office, Home Depot and Realty Direct.
