Message from Superintendent Dr. Charles Gobron:

The members of the Northborough, Southborough, and Northborough Southborough Regional School Committees will be interviewing Christine M. Johnson, who is currently serving as Assistant Superintendent of the districts, for the position of Superintendent of Schools. The interview is scheduled for next Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. in the library of Algonquin Regional High School. Members of the Northborough-Southborough educational community are cordially invited to attend.

During this interview process, time has been set aside for audience members to ask questions of the candidate.

Community members will be able to access the interview on cable and the meeting will be available for viewing on video stream through the district website the following day.

We look forward to seeing interested parents, educators, and community members at this interview.

*Updated (3/4/14 10:25 am): I was just informed that the information announced at the last school committee meeting about the Wednesday budget forum was incorrect. At that meeting, the forum was described as open to the public even though it takes place at the Southborough Senior Center. Actually, the forum is specifically for town seniors. (The free lunch comes out of the center’s budget!) So, if you aren’t a senior and are interested in attending a budget forum, take advantage of the 6:30 pm forum tonight at Woodward School.
