Police logs (3/21/14-3/23/14): Harassment, bangs, and Hit & Run

Police helped two residents with harassment complaints, responded to loud bangs, and are investigating a Hit & Run. Read about those incidents and more in the latest logs from the Southborough Police Department.

Friday, March 21, 2014:

  • 0027 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Oregon Road residence.
  • 0450 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0902 hrs- An officer responded to a Breakneck Hill Road to investigate a report of power lines down across the street. The responding officer reported back that the wires were cable wires, and had dispatch notify Verizon of the wires down.
  • 1111 hrs- Officers responded to a Turnpike Road business to investigate a report of an unwanted person on the premises. The individual was asked to leave and complied.
  • 1137 hrs- An officer took a report of harassing phone calls from a Witherbee Lane resident.
  • 1157 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1424 hrs- An officer assisted a resident at the police station with a harassment complaint.
  • 1503 hrs- An officer assisted a second resident at the police station with a harassment complaint.
  • 1553 hrs- A medical was reported at a Northboro Road business.
  • 1644 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1834 hrs- ARRESTED: A Quincy man was charged with OUI Alcohol and Operating a Motor Vehicle with No Inspection Sticker.
  • 1956 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 2247 hrs- An officer on patrol removed a large construction sign from the roadway on Northboro Road.

Saturday, March 22, 2014:

  • 0004 hrs- A medical was reported at a Main Street residence.
  • 0106 hrs- A motorist from Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Defective Equipment.
  • 0915 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
  • 0953 hrs- Officers investigated a parking complaint on Cordaville Road.
  • 1150 hrs- ARRESTED: A Roxbury woman was charged with Receiving Stolen Property over $250 (motor vehicle).
  • 1312 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
  • 1619 hrs- Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator in the area of Central Street. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 1716 hrs- A motorist from Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
  • 1727 hrs- An officer responded to Peggy Drive to investigate a report of a tree down and blocking the roadway. The responding officer was able to remove the tree from the road.
  • 1851 hrs- An officer responded to an Oak Hill Road residence to investigate a report of missing items from the resident’s yard (pet items). The responding officer took a report on the incident.
  • 2318 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.

Sunday, March 23, 2014:

  • 0301 hrs- An officer investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked in front of a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1149 hrs- An officer took a report of a stolen license plate from a Main Street resident.
  • 1426 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1636 hrs- A motorist from Marlborough, MA came to the station to report a Hit & Run accident that had just occurred. The responding officer is currently investigating the accident.
  • 1651 hrs- A medical was reported at a Main Street business.
  • 1718 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident (vs. deer) on Turnpike Road. There were no injuries reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1821 hrs- Officers performed a requested house check on Framingham Road.
  • 1837 hrs- A medical was reported at an Oregon Road residence.
  • 1921 hrs- Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The vehicle was located by the responding officer, who reported back that everything checked out ok.
  • 2031 hrs- Officers responded to Richards Road to investigate a report of loud “bangs in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
