The Southborough Gardeners is seeking candidates for its annual scholarship. Here are the details:
Once again, the Southborough Gardeners are offering a scholarship to be awarded to a student who has been accepted to a school of higher learning or is presently attending college, majoring in one of the following fields: Art, Sciences related to Horticulture, Floral Design, Environmental Studies, Ecology, Conservation, Agriculture, Botany, or Landscape Architecture/Design.
To be eligible, the candidate must be a two year resident of Southborough and must demonstrate scholastic achievement and good citizenship. The amount of the award this year is $2000.
