Santa Day: The show must go on

It occurs to me that as some of you watch Saturday’s forecast, you may be worried about the big man coming to town.

So, I’m just dropping a quick line to let you know, never fear. However he arrives, the annual Santa Day celebration will take place at the Community House from noon-3:00 pm.

And as of now, Santa is still planning to fly into town*.

Of course my fingers are crossed for a break in the forecast rain. But organizers tell me a good place to seek shelter will the porch at the Community House. There you can check out their raffle and try your luck on over 35 prizes.

*Southborough Emergency Management makes the final call about landing conditions on the day of the event. On the back burner, firefighters volunteer to deliver St. Nick in style should the need arise. (Barring an emergency call.)

Updated (12/6/14 11:40 am): SEM made the call. Santa will arrive by firetruck to the Community House at noon.
