Police logs: Child endangerment, underage drinking party, and route 9 shutdown

On Saturday, a Hopkinton man was arrested for several charges including drunk driving, carrying a firearm and child endangerment.

Monday, February 16, 2015:

  • 0435 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0833 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1046 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Marlboro Road.
  • 1116 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Northboro Road.
  • 1429 hrs- An officer investigated suspicious activity at a Ledge Hill Road residence.
  • 1556 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Pine Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1615 hrs- The DPW was called out and requested to widen Pine Hill Road.
  • 1658 hrs- A tractor trailer unit requested police assistance with turning around on Turnpike Road. Responding police units were able to assist the driver.
  • 2008 hrs- Wires were pulled down and poles were pulled out of the ground by a truck operating with its bed up on Turnpike Road. Traffic was shut down on both sides of Route 9 for several hours as a result of the accident. National Grid, Mass Highway, and Verizon were all notified and responded to the scene.

Tuesday, February 17, 2015:

  • 0904 hrs- ARRESTED: A Southborough man was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License.
  • 1057 hrs- A medical was reported at a Flagg Road residence.
  • 1319 hrs- An officer responded to Boston Road to investigate a report of a skateboarder skating in the middle of the road. The responding officer reported back negative findings in the area.
  • 1335 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 1411 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a High Street residence.
  • 1641 hrs- An officer responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of a vehicle parked facing the wrong way on Route 9. The vehicle was located and towed from the scene.
  • 1734 hrs- An officer investigated a report of suspicious activity at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1950 hrs- An officer assisted a Newton Street resident with a civil matter. 

Wednesday, February 18, 2015:

  • 0535 hrs- An officer investigated a parking complaint on Nathan Stone Road.
  • 0700 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0735 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0804 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
  • 0804 hrs- Officers investigated a report of two males blocking traffic by walking in the middle of Oak Hill Road. Responding officers reported back that the two males had left the area.
  • 0842 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Woodland Road residence.
  • 1104 hrs- Officers investigated a disturbance at a Boston Road business.
  • 1333 hrs- An officer investigated a report of an Identity Theft at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1516 hrs- Officers responded to Cordaville Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 1528 hrs- An officer took a Larceny report from a Pine Hill Road resident. The resident reported that a wallet was taken from their vehicle.
  • 1604 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Johnson Road residence.
  • 1626 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Flagg Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1841 hrs- The DPW was requested to sand the roadways, due to icy conditions.
  • 1931 hrs- A requested well-being check was conducted on a Turnpike Road resident.

Thursday, February 19, 2015:

  • 0104 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Boston Road.
  • 0747 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 0808 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Parmenter Road.
  • 0927 hrs- The Water Department was notified of a water main break on Turnpike Road.
  • 1528 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wyndemere Drive residence.
  • 1708 hrs- An officer assisted a resident with a civil matter at the police station.
  • 1723 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1839 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

  • 0859 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Marlboro Road.
  • 0946 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Flagg Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0949 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

  • 1147 hrs- An officer investigated a report of a possible Road Rage incident on Main Street. The responding officer reported back negative findings of any involved parties in the area.

  • 0150 hrs- A medical was reported at a Sarsenstone Way residence.
  • 0153 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Parkerville Road residence.
  • 0605 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0633 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a Hit & Run accident on Turnpike Road.
  • 0848 hrs- Solicitors registered for the day at the police station.
  • 1024 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Woodbury Road residence.
  • 1347 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1411 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an East Main Street business.

  • 2040 hrs- ARRESTED: A Hopkinton man was charged with OUI Alcohol; Carrying a Firearm While Intoxicated; OUI Child Endangerment; Speeding; and Failure to Stop.   • 1622 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1634 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1655 hrs- Officers responded to Maple Street to investigate a neighbor dispute involving snow removal. The situation was resolved by the two parties.
  • 1725 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1924 hrs- A medical was reported at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 2106 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 2112 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Breakneck Hill Road.
