I’m signing off for Thanksgiving. But first, I want to make sure you have all the info you need!

Thanksgiving events

The Gobble Wobble:
If you pre-registered, you can pick up your shirt and number today (Wednesday) until 6:00pm at the Southborough Recreation Office (21 Highland St.) You can still register on Thanksgiving, starting at 7:00 am. For other details, check my earlier post. For the official website, click here.

What else is happening
Events over the holiday include the Football game, a toy collection, a dinner for seniors, and ARHS Athletics Hall of Fame. Click here for the list. Also, this afternoon (Wednesday) and Monday, St. Mark’s School is offering use of their rink for Free Skate and Sticks & Pucks. Click here for that info.

Town Hours for the holiday

Here’s a list of when our municipal facilities will be closed for the holiday, including early closures today.

Southborough public schools
Early dismissal today (November 25) . No classes Thursday, November 26 through Monday, November 30. (Monday is a Professional Development Day.)

Transfer Station
Closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27

Town House
Closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27

Library
Closes early at 5:00 pm today (November 25). Closed Thursday, November 26 – Sunday, November 29

Senior Center
Closes early today (November 25) at noon. Closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27
