Here’s a reminder of what you need to know for tomorrow’s Gobble Wobble. For the 10th year, locals will earn their Thanksgiving dinners while supporting the Friends of Southborough Recreation. (And this year, proceeds will support Special Olympic programs.)

2014 Gobble Wobble (photo by Chris Wraight)The 5K runners can compete for cash prizes: 1st-$300, 2nd-$200, 3rd-$100. There is also a 2 mile walk and a free fun run for kids.

To help parents enjoy the run, race organizers are again providing babysitting for only $5 per family. Walk-ins welcome. (Although, every year some runners tote kids along in jogging strollers or backpacks!)

Dogs & strollers must start at the back of the line.

If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s not too late. You can register in person today or that morning. (The race is capped at 1,200 – so get there early).*

This race has turned runners away before, in 2008 I was turned away because they said they reached a 500 runner capacity. I also have an email correspondence from that time about being turned away. They have increased the field size since 2008.
