Obituary: Lillian A. (LaNinfa) Howes, 85

Lillian A. (LaNinfa) Howes, 85, of Southborough, died on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Countryside Health Care of Milford, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late (Francis) Peter Howes for 48 years.

Born in Providence RI, Lillian and her family moved to Southborough when she was eight years old. She was a proud graduate of the former Peter’s High School in Southborough. Lillian worked for many years at “The Spa” in Southborough while her children were in school. During the summers, Lillian loved spending time at the family camper on Cape Cod. She had a very witty sense of humor, and always enjoyed listening to music. Lillian was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother, who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Amy (Howes) Dulak and her husband Robert; Seth Howes and his wife Joann; her three grandchildren, Brandon and Brianna Dulak, and Shane Howes, all of Milford. Even during her final days, she most looked forward to visits from her grandchildren whom she adored.

Lillian’s family would like to thank Countryside Health Care of Milford for the wonderful care they provided for Lillian.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Rd, Southborough. Burial will follow in Southborough Rural Cemetery.
