St. Patrick’s Day fun at the Senior Center – Wednesday

There may not be any green on the ground yet, but there’s green in the air. St. Patrick’s Day is just around the bend. Next Wednesday, seniors can get an early start on celebrating.

The Southborough Senior Center is hosting their annual luncheon on March 13th at noon. The event prioritizes Southborough residents.

Importantly, it also only lists a “suggested donation” for members of the Friends of Council of the Aging.

There are other upcoming programs that are “Friends Only” this spring (two bus trips). Plus, Senior Center programs frequently offer a discount for members. So, if you’re a senior in Southborough but haven’t joined yet (or need to pay this year’s dues), you may want to sign up now.

Membership is just $15 per year and supports programs for Southborough seniors. You can find the membership application on the insert from the most recent newsletter. (Click here to open that.)

As for next week’s luncheon, pre-registration is required. You can call 508-229-4453 or stop by the front desk.

The entertainment is returning band Jug o’ Punch. (You can sample some of their tunes here.)

As usual, the St. Patrick’s Day luncheon features Corn Beef and Cabbage with all the fixing from TJ’s of Ashland. (Baked Stuffed Chicken is also available upon advance request.)

Below are a few of the photos the center posted to Facebook from last year’s lunch:
