I am all for a tax funded transfer station. This is how it was originally. I would hope it will offer incentive for private hauler users to go to the transfer station and give up the use of private haulers. Right now I see private haulers going down my street every day of the week in a town that already offers a place to bring the trash. At least make it mandatory that all private hauler users use the same company so we only see one truck per week. Right now we see every private hauler in the phone book in town.
