The Algonquin Parents Teacher Organization is looking to bring some sweet fun to Algonquin teachers and staff this Friday. The group is promoting:

The APTO is treating all 208 teachers, faculty and staff at ARHS to a sweet treat. Would you like to participate? Any contribution is welcome ($6 will sponsor 1 treat). Uhlman’s ice cream truck will arrive at the high school at 11:30am on Fri, 9/25/20 with delightful scoops to uplift the wonderful people who educate and care for our children!

You can chip in to the effort through Paypal here or mail in checks payable to ‘APTO’ mailed c/o Algonquin PTO, Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St., Northborough MA 01532.

ARHS students aren’t scheduled to begin hybrid learning at the school until October 6th. But much of the teaching is already being done from the schools as demonstrated in the tweeted pic below:

Plus, coaches have been running fall athletics practices after school:

For those interested in getting involved in the APTO this year, the group posted a video of their Meet & Greet with Principal Sean Bevan from August. It includes a presentation on who they are and what they do.
