Earlier this summer, I shared a Southborough cyclist’s commitment to the bike-a-thon. Since then, I’ve heard from two more asking me to share their information about the Jimmy Fund fundraiser.
St. Anne’s Church is launching a golf tournament to raise funds for youth programs. Meanwhile, the Council on Aging is holding its 24th annual Falconi Golf tournament.
A fundraiser for the Abbie Benford Memorial Fund will be held at Hopkinton High School.
The 2015 Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk takes place on September 27. Some of Southborough’s loyalists to the cause have already set up fundraising pages. Those I don’t know about are encouraged to share theirs.
This week’s a bit quieter than usual and these two upcoming events seemed worth sharing.
Beatles tribute band 4EverFab will entertain the crowd at next week’s Summer Concert.
The next performance in the Summer Concert Series is scheduled for Thursday of next week, July 9.

Here are some highlights of events in and around Southborough this week.
There are two events taking place in neighboring towns that are worth checking out tomorrow. One celebrates area rivers. The other makes use of a local lake for a fundraiser to battle breast cancer.
The 36th annual Pan-Mass Challenge takes place this August. And at least one Southborough cyclists has committed to the bike-a-thon.
Southborough Youth & Family Services and Southborough Recreation Department are teaming up again to run their second Summer Music Series.
The goal is to produce family friendly entertainment while supporting an important cause.
