One hundred years ago this winter, more than twenty thousand immigrant workers at textile mills in Lawrence, MA went on strike over low wages and unfair working conditions. This week the Southborough Library will host a discussion on the 8-week strike and its role in the emerging labor movement of the early 20th century.
