Southborough resident Mary Lou Woodford recently received a volunteer award from the American Cancer Society. Woodford is the director of the Women’s Health Network at the Department of Public Health. According to a recent article in the Community Advocate, she has worked to provide breast cancer screening, and prevention and detection information to uninsured and underinsured women.
