Town Engineer John Woodsmall sent along an update on the Northboro Road bridge work. Sounds like everything is going according to plan.
The entire bridge has been removed, though there is still some fencing and other demolition work that needs to be completed. The next step will be the adjustment and repair of the bridge piers, which will take a week or two. As of yesterday, the delivery of the new bridge timber girders is scheduled for the second week of November. Overall, MassHighway is pleased with the progress of the project to date.
