Regional school budget still uncertain

The regional school committee met last night to talk about next year’s budget for Algonquin. The Metrowest Daily News reports revenue for the district is still up in the air due to decisions pending at the state level.

Gobron said that until the transportation funding issue was addressed, 2009-10 school year revenue projections would be incomplete.

Ms. Sartori is not correct that the deadline for the budgets is in March. The deadline in Southborough is Jan 30. (Code of the Town of Southborough Section 9-14). The School committees have consistently thumbed their noses at the expressed requirements of the the voters of the Town of Southborough.
