School hasn’t let out for the summer yet, but for those of you who are already looking ahead to September, the calendar for the 2010-2011 school year has been posted on the district website.
Students return to school on September 1. Like last year, there are four professional development days scheduled for teachers, but for Southborough teachers one of those days will presumably be a furlough day instead. Earlier this year Southborough teachers agreed to give up one of their professional development days to help balance the school budget, a concession that saved the K-8 district about $80K.
