A double bill will close out the Steeple Coffeehouse season on Saturday night, with musicians Joe Crookston and Jake Armerding gracing the stage. Here are the program notes:

Joe Crookston
Sing Out! Magazine says, “Joe Crookston blends a traditional feel into wonderful originals. He’s fond of minor keys, and his quality guitar picking begins and fills many a tune. He is also proficient on banjo, fiddle, and accordion. With all the performers out there, an artist has to go beyond good…and Joe does.”

Jake Armerding
The Boston Globe calls singer-violinist Jake Armerding “the most gifted and promising songwriter to emerge from the Boston folk scene in years.”

The Steeple Coffeehouse is located in the parish hall at Pilgrim Church. Tickets are $14 in advance and $17 at the door. Discounts are available for seniors and students. Learn more on the Steeple Coffeehouse website (www.steeplecoffeehouse.org)
