Earlier this month, the Great Places in Massachusetts Commission released its list of 1,000 sites in the state to visit. On the list was Southborough’s own Breakneck Hill Conservation land — one of my personal faves.
No other spots in Southborough were named to the list, but here many in surrounding towns were. You can see the complete list here.
Tougas Family Farm, LaLaJava, Mt. Pisgah
Lyman School, Vintonsville/ West Main Street
Center Historic District, Hopkinton State Park
Ashland State Park, Town Forest
Center and West Main Historic District
Amazing Things Arts Center, Callahan State Park, Danforth Museum of Art, Garden in the Woods (N. E. Wild Flower Society)
What do you think? Surprised by any of the spots considered ‘great’? Anything you would add to the list?
