With a record of 1-10, last year was a tough one for the Algonquin football team. But with a large number of last year’s team returning this year, Coach Bill Long has high hopes.
“They know the only place to go is up. They’ve already stared the bad in the face. They’re back and ready to go. The look at last year as one where they took the bully’s best shot and they’re still standing, that breeds a lot of confidence.”
