Save the date: Rachel’s Challenge comes to Trottier (3/1)

Trottier Middle School Principal Keith Lavoie invites Southborough residents to join students and faculty for a special presentation at the school on Tuesday, March 1. It’s part of Rachel’s Challenge, a program that aims to “illustrate the need for a kinder, more compassionate nation” in the wake of the Columbine High School shootings in 1999.

Here are more details on what is sure to be a powerful event:

Rachel was the first victim in the April 1999 Massacre at Columbine High School. In memory of Rachel, her father and a team of contributors have dedicated themselves to spread a message of acceptance and empathy that Rachel personified.

Trottier will be having a whole-school assembly during the day, which is for students and faculty ONLY. However, we would like to welcome the entire Southborough community to a parent forum to be held that night at 7:30 in the Trottier Auditorium.

If you have any question, please visit the Rachel’s Challenge website, www.rachelschallenge.com or please contact Keith Lavoie, Principal of Trottier Middle School.
