Blackstone Valley Bluegrass at Steeple Coffeehouse on Saturday

Back by popular demand, the Steeple Coffeehouse welcomes Blackstone Valley Bluegrass to the stage at Pilgrim Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday night.

Calling them “barrel of fun,” here’s how the organizers have described the band:

Together almost 10 years, Blackstone Valley Bluegrass features renown banjo picker Dave Dick, his brother Bob Dick on guitar, Dan Nowlan on mandolin and Ken Taylor on upright bass. Blackstone Valley plays great bluegrass music; the fast ones fast – and the slow ones – with lots of feeling.

Tomasso will once again offer a discounted dinner to those going to the show. You can get details and see the menu here. There is also childcare offered by the Pilgrim Church Youth Group during the show. The cost is $10 for the first child and $5 for each additional child. To reserve your spot, email joe@steeplecoffeehouse.org.

Doors open at 7:00 pm and the music starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance ($12 for students/seniors) or $18 at the door ($15 for students/seniors). For more information, visit the Steeple Coffeehouse website (steeplecoffeehouse.org).

Quick correction – for this show the childcare is free. I’m assuming the youth group would appreciate a donation, but there isn’t an official rate. Should be a fun show!
