We interrupt our regularly scheduled Town Meeting coverage to bring you this little tidbit. TheDailyNorthborough.com reports William Collins, currently a principal in Southhampton, has been chosen as a finalist to replace Ewa Pytowska as assistant superintendent of the Northborough/Southborough school district.
Pytowska announced back in January that she plans to leave the district at the end of the school year.
Parents and community members are invited to meet Collins on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm or 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the Algonquin library.
Update: I originally referred to Pytowska as the assistant superintendent of Algonquin. That’s not correct, of course. She’s the assistant superintendent of the entire school district.
