Planning Board to hear presentation on regional development

The Southborough Planning Board invites residents to attend their meeting on Monday to hear a presentation by Bruce Leish of the Metrowest Regional Collaborative on the 495/Metrowest Development Compact project.

Southborough Town Planner Eric Denoncourt said the objective of the project is to identify sites of regional significance both for development and preservation, as well as to prioritize transportation and infrastructure needs in each of the 37 study area communities.

Results of the study will be used to help state agencies prioritize spending on infrastructure and capital investments, and possibly technical assistance, over the next 20 years. You can find more information on the project here.

The presentation starts at 7:05 pm on Monday, April 25 in the Town House Hearing Room. All are welcome.
