Here’s an event for all you bird-lovers — and early-risers — out there.

Join the Southborough Open Land Foundation for an Early Morning Bird Walk at the Beals Preserve on Saturday May 14, from 7:00 to 9:00 am. Jeff Collins from Mass Audubon will lead the walk as we look for warblers, thrushes, and orioles as well as all the breeding species that become active this time of year.

This event is free and for adults. Appropriate for birders of all levels or anyone wishing to learn more about bird watching. Nature lovers of all levels are welcome! The walk will be held rain or shine. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars and field guides if availible.

We will meet at the kiosk at the Beals Preserve. Saturday May 14 at 7:00 am. Park at the intersection of Main Street and Northborough Road and we will walk over to the kiosk together. Contact solfstewardship@verizon.net with any questions.
