Next week the Southborough Police Department will offer its Junior Police Academy. Here is all the info:
The Southborough Police Department will be holding it’s 12th Junior Police Academy from July 25- 29, 2011 from 8:30am-3:15pm.
The Academy, which is held at the Trottier Middle School, is open to boys and girls who will be entering the 7th, 8th or 9th Grades. Applications are available at the Southborough Police Department, or by sending an email request to landry@southboroughma.com or rmattioli@southboroughma.com. Cost is $40 per cadet.
The “Cadets” did a wonderful job at the graduation. Congratulations to them all. It is amazing the transformation they make in just one week. The connections and friendships are invaluable to them as well. Southborough Police Officers, Landry, Maida, Mattioli and McCarthy among others, do a fantastic job. Thank you to them for making this such a special opportunity for our children. Hopefully we can get this to run every year – our youth deserve it!
