Tuesday, October 11
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am): This story time is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. We will read stories and do a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required.
- LEGOS at the Library (3:45 – 5:00 pm): Children age 5 and up are invited to build with LEGOS at the Library. LEGOS and idea books will be provided. All LEGOS and LEGO creations must remain at the Library! Please register in advance at the Children’s Room desk or by calling 508-485-5031.
Wednesday, October 12
- Preschool Story Time (10:30- 11:15 am): This story time is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. We will read stories and do a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required.
- Fruitlands Pow Wow (3:45 – 4:30 om): Fruitlands Museum is visiting 11 towns in Massachusetts to teach children about a traditional pow wow. This will include the history of the pow wow, as well as a chance to try the instruments and dances in a pow wow. Sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
- Young Adult Book Club (6:30 – 7:30 pm ): Come join the young adult book group to discuss Beast, by Donna Jo Napoli and H.I.V.E.: Higher Institute of Villainous Education, by Mark Walden. Pizza and soda are donated by the Southborough Dominos Pizza on Route 9. Location: Meeting Room across from the Children’s Room
Thursday, October 13
- Baby and Toddler Time (11:00 – 11:30 am): This story time is for children age 0-2 years old and their parents or caregivers. Each week will include stories, music, and puppets. Drop-in, no registration necessary.
Saturday, October 15
- Template Game Day Event: Come join the games! We will be playing games, putting puzzles together and eating snacks! Games include: Trivial Pursuit, Chess, Cards & more. Location: Meeting Room across from the Children’s Room.
Movie Day at the Library(Canceled): Children and their parents or caregivers are invited to a showing of Nanny McPhee (rated PG, 1 hr., 39 min.). Popcorn and juice will be served. Movie license and refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.
