Police investigate past break-ins at Eaton Apothecary

When Southborough police foiled a break-in at Eaton Apothecary last week, it wasn’t the first time the pharmacy had been the target of thieves. Now police are trying to determine if the two Lynn brothers they captured were the same ones responsible for past break-ins.

From the Metrowest Daily News:

Philip Rogers, 42, and Ernest Rogers, 44, who a prosecutor said have long criminal records, were each ordered held on $25,000 bail at their arraignment in Westborough District Court yesterday.

Police say they interrupted the men as they tried to break into a back door of Eaton Apothecary, 162 Cordaville Road, around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Sgt. James DeLuca said his department is trying to see if the men are responsible for a Nov. 15 burglary at the store. An unknown quantity of prescription drugs was taken.

The shop was also burglarized in February 2010 and November 2009.
