Library book club selections for February

The Southborough Public Library offers book clubs for readers of all ages, and they’re all open to the public. Here’s what the groups are reading this month. Pick up a copy and join the discussion.

Seniors
The Senior Center Book Group will discuss The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe, on Wednesday, February 8, 11:00 am, at the Senior Center.

Young adults
The Young Adult Book Group will discuss Faerie Wars (Faerie Wars Chronicles) by Herbie Brennan and Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliett on Wednesday, February 8, 6:30 pm, at the Library. Pizza and soda provided by Southborough Dominos on Route 9.

4th-6th graders
The 4th-6th Grade Book Group will meet to discuss The Fantastic Secret of Owen Jester by Barbara O’Connor on Thursday, February 16, 6:30 pm, at the Library. Pizza and soda provided by the Friends of the Library.

2nd-3rd graders
The 2nd & 3rd Grade Book Group will meet on Wednesday, February 29, 6:30 pm, at the Library to talk about How Oliver Olson Changed the World by Claudia Mills.

Adults
The First Wednesday Book Group will discuss The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver on Wednesday, March 7, 10:00 am, at the Library.
