Breaking news: Capasso Farms plans to withdraw variance request

It looks a return to the old Capasso Farms is not in the cards, at least not now. The Metrowest Daily News is reporting the Capasso family will ask the Zoning Board of Appeals tonight to withdraw without prejudice its application for a variance.

The decision to withdraw comes as a surprise. The family and its prospective tenants Paul Mckunes of Holliston and Agnaldo Santos of Hudson were expected to appear before the ZBA tonight to present more details on their plans to reestablish a family farm at the Framingham Road site. While some ZBA members were on-the-fence about the project, others had expressed their support.

I’ll share more information as it becomes available.
