Southborough police log (3/30/12 – 4/2/12): Speeding cars and scooters on the road

The big police news for this week is obviously the two home break-ins that took place over the course of four days. You can read more about those in this post. Here’s what else the police have been dealing with since last Friday.

Friday, March 30, 2012
6:58 am – A medical was reported at a Latisquama residence.
7:27 am – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Northboro Road business.
9:34 am – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Main Street business.
10:14 am – Officers served court paperwork to a Woodland Road resident.
1:51 pm – Dispatch received a complaint of speeding motor vehicles on General Henry Knox Road.
1:53 pm – Dispatch received a complaint of speeding motor vehicles on Fisher Road.
2:24 pm – Officers responded to the T- Station to investigate a report of a possible runaway child. The investigation determined that the juvenile had not run away from home, and she was sent on her way.
4:52 pm – Southborough Police assisted Ashland Police with a motor vehicle accident that had occurred at the Southborough/Ashland town line.
5:31 pm – A resident of Worcester, MA. was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
5:37 pm – A medical was reported at a Cherry Street residence.
8:15 pm – Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator on David Henry Gardner Lane. The operator was located and given a verbal warning.
8:59 pm – Officers investigated a suspicious person(s) call on Breakneck Hill Road. The three individuals were lost, and all checked out o.k.
9:22 pm – Framingham Police requested Southborough Police to check on a report of a possible motor vehicle accident on Oak Hill Road. The responding officer reported that there was no accident in that area.
11:25 pm – Officers investigated a Burglary at a Mt. Vickery Road residence. Several items (including jewelry) were taken from the residence. The incident is currently under investigations by the Detective Unit. (more)

6:13 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
10:51 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at another Turnpike Road business.
4:39 pm – Officers investigated a report of an erratic Ford Focus on Framingham Road. The vehicle had left the area prior to the responding officer’s arrival.
5:16 pm – Officers investigated a report of vandalism at a Blendon Woods Drive residence. The resident reported that the tires on his vehicle were slashed. The responding officer is investigating the incident.
7:45 pm – ARRESTED: A resident of John Matthews Road was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor (3rd Offense), and Operating a Motor Vehicle to Endanger.
9:53 pm – Officers investigated a report of a suspicious male, knocking on the door of a Blendon Woods Drive residence. The male party had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.
10:32 pm – A well-being check was conducted on a Sarsenstone Way resident.

1:46 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
2:00 am – Officers investigated a suspicious person parked behind a Turnpike Road business. The individual checked out o.k.
2:21 am – A Leomeinster, MA resident was issued a Criminal Application for Speeding and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Being Licensed.
11:42 am – An Atwood Road resident reported that a sign was taken from their front yard. The responding officer took a report for the incident.
1:53 pm – A medical was reported at a Cordaville Road residence.
2:52 pm – A Presidential Drive resident reported juveniles driving motorized scooters on the roadway. The juveniles were located and advised.
3:54 pm – A medical was reported at a Crestview Drive residence.
9:44 pm – ARRESTED: A Marlborough man was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor; Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle; and Marked Lanes Violation.

Monday, April 2, 2012
12:00 am – A well-being check was conducted on a Constitution Drive resident.
6:57 am – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
8:08 am – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road (by Crystal Pond). No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
8:15 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
9:24 am – Officers took a report of an identity theft from a Garrison Lane resident. The incident is currently under investigation.
11:00 am – Officers responded to a Turnpike Road business to take a report of a possible domestic assault. A report was filed, and an arrest warrant was sought for a male party (arrested later in the day at 1938 hrs).
12:30 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
1:18 pm – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Meadow Lane residence.
1:31 pm – Officers investigated a Burglary at a Newton Street residence. Items were taken from the residence, and the detective unit is currently investigating the incident. (more)
3:23 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
5:41 pm – A resident of Watkins Lane reported that her credit card information was stolen. A report was filed on the incident.
7:38 pm – ARRESTED: A Turnpike Road resident was arrested on a warrant, in which he was charged with Domestic Assault & Battery and Threats to Commit a Crime. The arrest warrant stemmed from an incident that took place earlier in the day.
8:34 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
10:16 pm – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Framingham Road.
