Southborough police logs (6/1/12 – 6/3/12): A rowdy game of hide-and-seek

Friday, June 1, 2012

  • 1:26 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 2:05 am – An officer checked on a male walking on Cordaville Road. The male party checked out ok, and was given a ride to the Marlborough town line.
  • 6:26 am – ARRESTED: A Marlborough man was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, and having no Inspection Sticker.
  • 8:26 am – A requested well-being check was conducted on a Flagg Road resident.
  • 10:07 am – A resident of Joslin Lane was given a civilian transport home from White Bagley Road.
  • 11:19 am – An officer responded to an Oland Lane resident to take a report of a struck mailbox. Neighbors witnessed a white pick-up truck back into the mailbox, and then leave the area. The responding officer will be investigating the incident.
  • 2:15 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on East Main Street. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 2:27 pm – An officer responded to a Turnpike Road business to investigate a parking complaint.
  • 2:50 pm – A motorist reported an erratic operator on Central Street. The vehicle had left the area prior to the responding officer’s arrival.
  • 3:54 pm – Officers investigated a report of harassing phone calls to a Rockpoint Road residence.
  • 4:39 pm – Officers investigated a report of a phone scam at a Main Street residence.
  • 5:46 pm – A motorist from Worcester was issued a Criminal Application for having a Revoked Registration, and for having an Uninsured Motor Vehicle on the roadway.
  • 6:06 pm – A motorist from Marlborough was issued a Criminal Application for having a Revoked Registration, and for having an Uninsured Motor Vehicle on the roadway.
  • 6:47 pm – Officers responded to Woodbury Road for a parking complaint (vehicles parked on both sides of the road). A Woodbury Road resident (who was throwing a party) was advised to have his guests move their vehicles to one side of the road. Officers cleared from the scene without incident.
  • 7:05 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 7:18 pm – A resident of Gilmore Road reported seeing a suspicious grey truck occupied by teenagers in the area. The vehicle had left the area, prior to the responding officers arriving on scene.
  • 9:39 pm – A Graystone Way resident called to report that teenagers were hanging out in the woods on Graystone Way. The teens had left the area before officers arrived on scene. The resident requested extra patrols of the area, due to this being an on-going problem.
  • 10:30 pm – An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious vehicle parked on Lynbrook Road. The two occupants inside checked out ok.
  • 10:43 pm – A resident of Schipper Farm Lane reported noise from kids and vehicles in the area. Responding officers located a group of young children and their parents playing hide ‘n’ seek in the neighborhood. They were asked to quiet down.

Saturday, June 2, 2012

  • 12:04 am – A medical was reported a Ted Lane residence.
  • 2:34 am – ARRESTED: An Oregon Road resident was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and Battery.
  • 8:53 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 9:57 am – Officers investigated an erratic operator on Boston Road. The operator was subsequently taken to the hospital for a medical emergency.
  • 10:40 am – A license plate was found in the parking lot of a Grove Street business. The plate was run through the registry, and then returned to the owner on Southville Road.
  • 11:49 am – A medical was reported at a Main Street business.
  • 9:33 pm – A Meadow Lane residence was checked for suspicious activity, after headlights were seen driving around the property. The vehicle was located and checked out o.k.
  • 10:57 pm – Officers checked on a female party walking on Marlboro Road. The female was a resident of Woodland Road, and was subsequently given a civilian transport back to her residence.
  • 11:30 pm – An employee of a Turnpike Road business called to report that a customer had just come into the store with blood on his shirt. The customer left the store prior to the officers arriving on scene, and Framingham police were given the information and description of the man and his vehicle.

Sunday, June 3, 2012

  • 8:51 am – Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Flagg Road resident.
  • 10:57 am – Officers attempted to issue a warrant to a Newton Street resident.
  • 11:09 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 12:30 pm – A resident of Main Street reported that he was receiving harassing text messages. The responding officer will be investigating the incident.
  • 4:31 pm – A motorist from Winchendon was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License.
  • 5:05 pm – Officers responded to a Summit Road residence to investigate a motor vehicle being used without authority. Investigating officers concluded that a resident of the home will be charged with Use of a Motor Vehicle without Authority.
  • 6:24 pm – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Breakneck Hill Road residence.
  • 8:29 pm – Officers investigated a report of vandalism to a residence on Kallander Drive. The resident’s lawn had been run over and damaged by an unknown vehicle.
