Monday September 17, 2012

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am): This program is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. Each story time will feature stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. Drop-in, no registration required.

Tuesday September 18, 2012

  • Board of Library Trustees Meeting (6:00 – 8:00 pm): The Board of Library Trustees meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to the public and held in a downstairs meeting room at the Library.

Wednesday September 19, 2012

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am): This program is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. Each story time will feature stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • 2nd & 3rd Grade Book Group (6:30 – 7:30 pm): This book group is for children in second and third grade. A book will be selected each month and provided for the group members, and we will have a short discussion and activities about the book at each meeting. Pizza will be served, provided by the Friends of the Library. Space is limited and registration is required.
  • Friends of the Southborough Library Meeting (7:30 – 8:45 pm): The Friends of the Southborough Library meet on the third Wednesday of the month, at 7:30 p.m., at the Library. This month’s meeting will wrap up planning for the Heritage Day Book and Bake Sale – join us!

Thursday September 20, 2012

  • Baby and Toddler Time (11:00 – 11:30 am): This program is for children age 0-2 years and their parents or caregivers. Each weekly story time will include puppets, short stories, and music. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • 4th-6th Grade Book Group (6:30 – 7:30 pm): Come join the 4th-6th grade book group to discuss the book Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliet. Pizza and soda will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
  • Dr Fazen’s Tips on Staying Healthy and Saving Healthcare Costs (7:00 – 8:30 pm): Dr. Louis Fazen, Southborough resident and Chair of the Board of Health, will talk about ways to Live Healthy – Stop Dying – and Save Healthcare Expenses! No sign up required. Free and open to the public.
