Southborough Recreation is sponsoring a free Zumba class on Tuesday, November 13. It’s the perfect opportunity for those of you who have wanted to give this fitness craze a try. Here are the details.
2012 Zumba Fitness Class
Ages: 14 and older
When: Tuesday, November 13
Times: 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Location: South Union Building, 21 Highland Street, Southborough
Instructor: Kristen Cappello
Residents Only. Must pre-register to participate.
Zumba is an exciting dance party atmosphere full of Latin Pop and International music. You will forget you are working out with the challenging yet simple moves to the rhythms of the Cha-Cha, Salsa, Merengue, and more. It’s fun and effective using interval training, fast and slow rhythms, for an effective aerobic workout while at the same time targeting your legs, abs, glutes, and arms. The workout is watch and follow, the moves are repeated often enough for you to catch on and they are not complicated.
ZUMBA is infectious and the latest most exciting fitness sensation. It’s a great way to workout to lose weight or just become a healthier you.
Kristen Cappello is a member of the ZUMBA Instructors Network. She currently teaches at the Northeast Academy of Martial Arts in Hudson and in Southborough at the Pilgrim Church.
