Organizers will kick-off their planning for the 10th annual Northborough-Southborough Relay for Life next week, and they’re inviting interested residents to join them. Here are the details:

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life off Northborough/Southborough will have an informational night for local volunteers and participants at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Algonquin Regional High School auditorium. The meeting is open to anyone interested in volunteering for or participating in the 2013 Relay, which will be the 10th anniversary of the event.

Last year’s Relay raised more than $65,000 as 44 teams comprised of more than 500 local residents joined together in the fight against cancer. Relay For Life is a life-changing event that helps communities across the globe celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
