Police logs (9/26/13-9/29/13): a stolen bike, driver incidents and three arrests

Motorists kept the police busy with incidents including accidents, erratic driver reports, and a hit and run. Read about those incidents and more in the latest logs from the Southborough Police Department.

Thursday, September 26, 2013:

  • 0845 hrs- An officer on patrol advised dispatch that someone had struck the median barrier at Turnpike and Crystal Pond Road. Mass Highway was notified of the damage.
  • 0922 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
  • 1305 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a suspicious male party walking on Central Street towards Route 9. The responding officer reported back that the individual had left the area.
  • 1515 hrs- An officer responded to Woodbury Road to investigate a report of a large truck blocking the roadway. The truck had left the area prior to the officer arriving on scene.
  • 1716 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Mt. Vickery Road residence.
  • 1725 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Marlboro Road at the Acre Bridge Road intersection. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 2209 hrs- An officer investigated a report of a one car, motor vehicle accident on Framingham Road. The vehicle had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival, and no damage was done to the area.

Friday, September 27, 2013:

  • 0530 hrs- A motorist from Jefferson, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration; Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and Failure to Inspect Motor Vehicle.
  • 0541 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 0630 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
  • 0933 hrs- Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator on Framingham Road. The responding officer reported back that the vehicle had left the area.
  • 1034 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Boston Road.
  • 1326 hrs- An officer assisted a Southville Road resident with a possible restraining order violation.
  • 1449 hrs- An officer took a report of a stolen bicycle from the MBTA station parking lot.
  • 1658 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident. 
  • 1713 hrs- A medical was reported at a Wildwood Drive residence.
  • 1715 hrs- A hit and run, motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Coslin Drive and Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1741 hrs- ARRESTED: A Bellingham man was arrested on an active arrest warrant for failure to pay fines. He was also issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana.
  • 1845 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on River Street.
  • 2207 hrs- Officers checked the Bigelow Road area after receiving a report of an erratic/aggressive driver in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 2334 hrs- ARRESTED: A Framingham man was charged with OUI Alcohol; Speeding; Marked Lanes Violation; and Red Light Violation.
  • 2335 hrs- A passenger in the arrested man’s vehicle was placed into Protective Custody (due to alcohol consumption), and brought to the police station.

Saturday, September 28, 2013:

  • 0224 hrs- A medical was reported at a Woodbury Road residence.
  • 0830 hrs- A medical was reported at a Fisher Road residence.
  • 0940 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Chestnut Hill Road. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1034 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1228 hrs- A medical was reported at a Main Street business.
  • 1650 hrs- An officer took a vandalism report from a Meadow Lane resident.
  • 2007 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
  • 2142 hrs- A medical was reported at a Fiddleneck Lane residence.

Sunday, September 29, 2013:

  • 0136 hrs- ARRESTED: A Southborough man was charged with OUI Alcohol and Marked Lanes violation.
  • 0221 hrs- ARRESTED: A Southborough woman was charged with Domestic Assault & Battery, after officers responded to the home to investigate a report of a Domestic in progress.
  • 1703 hrs- An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a report of a grill fire on Carolyn Terrace.
  • 2255 hrs- An officer assisted a Latisquama Road resident with a noise complaint issue.
