Convicted burglar and Police logs (4/23-4/26/14)

In my rush to post on Friday, I forgot to include something in my news roundup – the conviction for a Southborough burglary.

Keith Nason, 44, of 36 Creeper Hill Road, North Grafton, was sentenced to 2 to 3 years in state prison, with 3 years of probation to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty Friday in Worcester Superior Court to 4 counts each breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony and larceny from a building.

Assistant District Attorney Brett F. Dillon told Judge James R. Lemire that Mr. Nason broke into a house. . .at 53 Breakneck Hill Road in Southboro on Jan. 30, 2013 (read more)

Wednesday, April 23, 2014:

  • 0646 hours – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 1314 hours – Two yellow labs were found on Barn Lane. Animal Control was notified.
  • 1429 hours – Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1539 hours – Officers investigated a 3 car motor vehicle crash on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1602 hours – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sadie Hutt Lane residence.
  • 1930 hours – An officer took a report of harassing phone calls. 

Thursday, April 24, 2014:

  • 0519 hours – Officers responded with the Southborough Fire Department to Turnpike Road for a report of a gasoline spill. Four gallons of gasoline were removed from the roadway.
  • 0806 hours – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Turnpike Road business.
  • 0837 hours – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Carriage Hill Circle residence.
  • 0925 hours – Officers assisted the Southborough Fire Department on Bigelow Road with a large pine tree on the power lines.
  • 1218 hours – Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1329 hours – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Woodland Road residence.
  • 1329 hours – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Main Street Residence.
  • 1504 hours – A medical was reported at an Oregon Road residence.
  • 1557 hours – Property damage to a stone wall was reported at a William Colleary Lane residence.
  • 1642 hours – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Woodland Road residence.
  • 1744 hours – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle crash with possible injuries on Turnpike Road.
  • 1756 hours – Officers investigated a two car motor vehicle crash on Turnpike Road.

Friday, April 25, 2014:

  • 0108 hours – Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Marlborough Road.
  • 0252 hours – An officer assisted Marlborough Police with a motor vehicle stop.
  • 0553 hours – ARRESTED: An Ashland man was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
  • 0704 hours – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Whistler Lane residence.
  • 0709 hours – Officers investigated a single car motor vehicle crash on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0845 hours – A medical was reported at a Sadie Hutt Lane residence.
  • 1310 hours – A medical was reported at a Middle Road residence.
  • 1333 hours – A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1405 hours – Officers made a well-being check at an Oak Hill Road residence.
  • 2231 hours – Two loose dogs were reported on Middle Road. Animal control was notified.

Saturday, April 26, 2014:

  • 0225 hours – Officers investigated a suspicious person at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1245 hours – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Boston Road business.
  • 1307 hours – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call at a St Martin Drive business.
  • 1400 hours – Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked outside of a Southville Road business.
  • 1458 hours – A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 2110 hours – A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
  • 2116 hours – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Valley Road residence.
  • 2202 hours – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Bantry Road residence.
  • 2208 hours – Hopkinton Police requested assistance with a Domestic in their town.
